I wanted this feature to make handling my laptop more secure (help to avoid it slipping out of my hands... I'm a teacher and cart my computer around with me all the time). At first I intended to return it, but decided to give it a try. Well, I love it! My laptop looks amazing, and the cover snapped on with no effort at all, fits nice and tight, like a second skin. All the ports are easily accessible, and the little feet feature really helps with ventilating the heat that laptops can generate with use.The big plus is the cost: half of what one of the Speck covers would have run me. Mine came with the keyboard cover, which adds a pretty look to the keyboard, and using my laptop off and on all day at school, plus carting it home for use there, it can get quite dirty over time. I have tried the Speck ~ it was nice but kept the computer hot, plus it came with a huge scratch across the top, no fault of Amazon, must of came out of the factory like that, and cost double the price. This notebook cover has little legs to raise the computer up to make it easier to type, which is a HUGE plus to keep the computer cool. The bottom is open a little to keep it extra cool. It still protects, do not see any damage to mine. I always try to buy the best of anything and I would say this is the best cover so far for yourMac Book Pro. Just love it, plus the price is right!! The fit was prefect, easy on, easy off. They wanted what i thought was to much for what they were. I came across this deal for a fraction of the price so i ordered one> A few days later it showed up. The installation was amazingly simple and it looks great , my daughter loved the purple cover and the key pad protector that goes with it. I would higly recommed this product. They shipped fast,the cover fit well and the price is excellent. |
