The 60 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter features a magnetic DC connector that ensures your power cable will disconnect if it experiences undue strain and helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time. I would have been perfectly fine with a gimped power cord that I'd have to re-socket every time I wanted to power up my macbook, but I simply can't deal with a completely broken product.I'm gonna wake up tommorow and work on getting a replacement. I purchased from seller GREENLAND and had a great experience. The item arrived quickly and well packaged. This is the 60W charger, but mine arrived packed in the retail packaging for an 85W charger. No matter, as I was expecting to receive no retail packaging anyway. The charger came with all the protective wrap still attached in new condition. The packaging included both the "duckhead" and "extension" adapters for the charger.I compared this charger side by side to one that came with a Macbook I purchased and a known aftermarket charger. The only differences I noticed between the OEM and this one was that the printing on the side was arranged slightly differently, and the manufacturing supplier was different. The known aftermarket charger was larger in all dimensions, lighter weight, and had a flimsy magsafe connector. Both this charger and the known OEM were the same...
